ACID WASHED MARCHING BAND :: MELODIES IN DENIM
The Acid Washed Marching Band was born at the Oregon Country Fair circa 2010 and is essentially a ‘micro’ marching band. Like a jazz combo on wheels, AWMB soars through the crowds delivering New Orleans second line jazz and random hits.

POSSE IMPOSSIBLE :: Making the IMPOSSIBLE, Possible
Hip-hop, rock, folk, funk, Balkan, reggae? Impossible! Probably the biggest thing this band has in common with Led Zeppelin is the meaning behind the name. This posse is an unlikely mix of musicians and styles that could only be impossible.

Started rehearsing this project in a cabin on Vashon Island and quickly added other members from that exclusive zip code. We moved on to play locally in the Seattle area and recorded the eponymous album.

Roots reggae music with a Hawaiian vibe. LBM opened for countless international acts in hometown Seattle and toured regionally, including a 2 week tour of Hawaii, suffering for their art.

Playing bass in a reggae band beneath the soaring three-part harmonies was much akin to riding a magic carpet on stage, in front of people. I played bass in the band (no, they didn’t let me sing) during the band’s heyday between 2002 and 2005 and recorded on the eponymous album.
